A Plus Food Training specializes in training food service workers. A Plus Food Training offers the following training courses to employees of food and bar establishments as well as businesses that sell and serve food products such as grocery stores, hospitals, and schools:
- Food Manager (Sanitation) Training
- Food Handler Training for Restaurants
- Food Handler Training for Non-Restaurants
- BASSET (Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training)
We also proctor the following ServSafe® examinations:
- Servsafe® Food Protection Manager Certification
- Servsafe® Alcohol Certification
Our instructors are certified Servsafe instructors and use the Servsafe curriculum for all training courses except the Food Handler Course for Non-Restaurants. The Food Handler Course for Non-Restaurant was developed by A Plus Food Training and is approved for use in the State of Illinois. All other training courses meet the requirement for the states of Illinois and Indiana. The Food Manager (Sanitation) course is approved by the Chicago Department of Public Health and students are eligible for the Chicago certificate. All workshops are held at locations throughout the Chicagoland area.
